Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.
Unit Position Summary
Work with a variety of on and off campus partners and conduct the following:
- Provide tech support for webinars, podcasts and in person events.
- Writing and editing (website and social media content).
- Facilitate and manage electronic networks and products (i.e. webinars, newsletters etc.)
- Create videos with partners and staff.
- Other duties as necessary to accomplish varied community and economic development projects
Desired Qualifications
- Designs, edits, and proofreads materials; researches and writes press releases, and; provides clerical support in order to facilitate the production and distribution of marketing materials.
- Creates content for and assists to update the Center’s website, social media accounts, and podcasts with tribal economic resiliency planning grant announcements.
- Collaborates with staff to produce and edit outreach and engagement education materials for tribal partners.
- Provides fund development support for programmatic needs such as fellow stipends.
- Helps coordinate and track the pilot program’s activity calendar and supports workgroup activities.
- Acts as a liaison with faculty, staff, administrators, and community partner organizations to coordinate pilot programmatic activities such as interviews, orientation, and training.
- Supports events, including planning, logistics, outreach, and promotion.
- Gathers and incorporates community partner, student, faculty, and staff feedback and makes recommendations regarding pilot partner economic resiliency needs.
- Ability to produce ADA-compliant materials and productions.
- Supports fellow recruitment efforts.
