Clinic Operations Administrator

Position Summary

The Clinic Operations Administrator will collaborate with Practice Managers, Clinic Managers, providers, staff and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care, efficient operations, and compliance with HCI policies and by-laws. This position will oversee several Primary Care Clinics.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in a business-related field or in a field which corresponds to the particular department of employment; eight or more years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in office procedures and administration, or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; experience in a supervisory role; experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation software and/or desktop publishing, web page software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Experience working directly with physicians, Advance Practice Practitioners, staff, patients and external entities is required.

  • At least one year of managerial experience 
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Creativity, problem analysis and decision making
  • Ability to work varied shifts
  • Ability to implement change that is supported and successful
